Dear Colleagues,
New Year Greetings to all.
I am much exited to share with you the landmark event in the history of Saurashtra Gramin Bank i.e. the posting of
RRB officers as regular Regional Managers. Recently Shri K P Buch and Shri M G Chandrala are designated as Regional
Managers of Jamnagar and Junagadh Region respectively. Congratulations to Both of them. It is one more opportunity
to SGB staff coupled with new challanges ahead. I feel that Human Asset is of paramount importance in development of any
Organization, more so in case of Bank business where customer orientation is the prime focus.
For that very purpose I suggest as under:
1) Grooming of staff at every level is very important.
2) Regional Offices are to spread the message that evey one must stand prepared to face higher challenges.
One must learn to analyze that facts beyond figures.
3) Work collectively as a Team.
4) Regional Managers should interact frequently with Branch staff to make them aware of Branch concerns and to get their
views for the development of the Bank in general and the Branch in particular. The entire machinery to be brought in the
Top Gear. Branch Managers should also be counseled to act Swiftly & Proactively. RMs to create a culture of discipline &
Motivation in their Regions.
I am in no doubt while saying that many of us - from top to bottom - have the self motivation, devotion and enthusiasm
to perform whole heartedly. Messenger of Mota Vadala Br. (R-I) is an example of devotion and dedication prevailing
at the lowest cadre. Only thing required is to find out the hidden quality in the staff working with us, allocate the
job with full trust & motivation and appreciate their efforts frankly & whole heartedly. We have to keep in mind that
Rs. 5.00 Cr. Business per person is the minimum requirement to make a Branch Viable. Regional Managers are advised to convey to the Branches
to Improve in at least any one field. Regional Managers are requested to be analytical in various areas. Just by working in
the style befitting to the present environment and requirement, we will surely be rewareded with Success and Satisfaction.
